There's just too many to choose from!

Green with Envy...

I spent yesterday in a little slice of heaven...

With an amazing couple who opened their home to share their collections...

There were many collections, that will surely warrant more posts but I wanted to share the collection that took my breath away and left me "green with envy"...

I've never seen so many lovely jadeite pieces in one place...

Stacks and Stacks...

Of Minty Green Goodness...

Some pieces of which I had never seen...

Everywhere I turned there was more to see...

A truly impressive amount of treasures.

And this wasn't the only collection
that made me green with envy..

This too made my heart do a little pitter-patter dance.  This is only a tease...
I'll be back to share the rest of this lovelies friends soon.

I can't thank my dear friends enough for allowing us the pleasure of seeing their breathtaking collections, we are so blessed to have met so many people during this journey of shop ownership!

Now I need to wipe the drool from my chin and get myself back to the daily grind.

Enjoy Your Monday My Friends!

An Ever Changing Collection...

That's what we tell the customers who ask what we ARE.

And lately the ever changing is very evident in the shop.

Love this sweet birdcage.

A wall full of salvaged finds...

Industrial loaf pan, antique milking stool and handmade cement planters...

And one of my favorite new pieces to find it's way into the shop is this #14 Watt Batter Bowl and chippy fun green crate...

Since some of these lovelies left the shop it's time to get to rearranging.  I hope you all are having a relaxing weekend doing what you love...

Lilacs for a lovely lady...

I often sit down to write this blog and wonder if I should add a little more personal info to let you all get to know me better.  I'll sensor you from some of the crazy that I call life but I thought it'd be fitting that I add some more of "me" to these posts.  So with all the lilacs in bloom I can't help but think about my grandmother.  They were her favorites...

And since she passed only 6 months ago,  I often find myself stopping to "smell the lilacs".  I think losing someone often makes you do that...
My sweet grandmother's passing was quite a shock.  She was diagnosed with cancer and was gone a short 3 months later.  And the sweet scent of the lilacs brings back so many wonderful memories for me.

There is something so nostalgic about lilacs...

For me, they are so full of memories...of a woman so sweet, so kind and so full of life that she filled a room with her presence even though she was a mire 5 foot tall.  A woman who loved people, loved life and was so easy to love.

A Kitchen with Some Charm...

I'm in love with the kitchen...

Sometimes I think I'd rather be living at the shop then in my own house...

There's something so charming about mixing up some goodies in pyrex bowls...

Baking up some yummy treats in a Sanico oven...

The charm is in the details...

and the sweet little treasures...

It makes it all feel like home.

At Bit of the UnExpected...

I love the unexpected in decorating...

From the fan cover canopy to the garden gate headboard.

Perfect place to post some memories.

Love these old fence post toppers...the possibilities are endless...

Lilacs...need I say more?

I'm smitten with this piece.  I love the shade of green, love the details, just love it all...

Sweet teacup planter from Jill Ruth & Co...she has the BEST ideas!

I don't know about you but I could cozy up with a good book, relax with some sweet tea and enjoy the scent of the lilacs...
