A little "Distressed"...

The first class went off without a hitch.  What a fun gathering of creative spirits.

Just wanted to share some of the fun.

with the right tools...

a little time...

some creativity...

a bit of instruction...

and the freedom to not take things too seriously...

It's amazing what you can create...

It was so much fun to share the evening with such a wonderful group of women.

Thank you Heather, you did an amazing job teaching the class.  If you missed it we're hoping to get another one scheduled soon.  If you are interested send us an email at simplybungalow@yahoo.com or check us out on Facebook!

A New Space to Create...

Thank you to all that came out to celebrate the opening of our new Creative Space!

The cleaning took place up to the last second and I'm sure I could've loaded it with more fun treasures but sometimes time just runs out!

So, here's how it looked...

Just a preview of how we can set up for a small gathering of friends...

Every party needs "streamers" we just happen to make ours out of napkins and hankies...

I have visions of mis-matched silverware and delicate floral plates...

And when the party isn't in swing how about a space to create?

A bit of the unexpected and fun...

Jars full of buttons, notions, and other bits of wonderful things...

Cutter quilts...just use your imagination....all the possibilities...

We are so excited to have a place to gather and share.  We can't wait to get started.  Classes are being scheduled daily!

Check back often and join in the fun!

And if you are local and want to teach a class feel free to contact us at simplybungalow@yahoo.com.

I also wanted to take a minute to thank Jill for the beautiful photos of the shop that she shared on Jill Ruth & Co.  The last two pictures were borrowed from her blog.  Her pictures are amazing, stop by and see for yourself!

Full to the Brim...

A day clear of "to-do" lists...

One where I'm not running full speed and cramming a million things into my day...

Some quiet time with my two precious children...

A nice balance!  That's what I need...

A Sweet Escape...

There's a wonderful space in our new place...

A place that I can envision as a place to gather, to share giggles with friends, to create.

We've been trying to figure out how to bring this vision to life.

And like most things in life sometimes you just have to go for it.

So we've booked our first bridal shower

and are booking classes in paper crafts and painting techniques.

And we are hoping that we create a "Escape" from the ordinary.

Join Us to Celebrate this New Adventure.

Feeling a Little Campy...

Ever since I paged through the Flea Market Style Magazine I've been dying to bring a little "campy" fun to the shop.  And what better time then Summer.

Picnic dining in the great outdoors...

Cuddling up by the Campfire...

Or vacationing at a Cabin on the Lake...

Summertime just makes everything better...
